The city of Bergen is said to be surrounded by seven mountains (“fjell” in Norwegian). Interestingly, there are more than seven mountains in the Bergen area. Generations have debated, and still debate, which of our mountains make up ‘the famous seven’. The refined Syv Fjell jacket is made from 100% skin-soft, extra-fine merino wool in a mix of structures and subtle patterns. Up close, the toned-down appearance reveals the mountain range pattern and a combination of knitting techniques.
The official team jacket for the Norwegian Alpine team for the 2021 World Championships in Cortina d’Ampezzo. The back is adorned with an image of Monte Cristallo and a snowflake. Cristallo is the long, indented ridge northeast of Cortina. The snowflake is from the Cortina d’Ampezzo 1956 Winter Olympics medals. Inspired by the history of the alpine sport, this jacket has Norwegian flag striped cuffs and shoulders, a throwback to alpine skiing in the 1970s. You’ll find the Dale signature in the traditional flag-colored patterns on the sleeves. Made from 100% skin-soft merino wool in a stretchy rib knit quality.
Named after a Norwegian island on the West Coast of Norway. Going ashore at Brimse island is like being transported 50 years back in time. This jacket reflects its history of traditional farming and untouched nature. The design is all about preserving traditional patterns and elements while – at the same time – turning them into a jacket with an updated, contemporary look. The traditional Norwegian eight-petal rose adorns this jacket – front and back. Made from 100% long-lasting lightweight wool.
This classic jacket is inspired by our Dale sweaters from the 1950s and 1960s. The updated interpretation of historic patterns and elements of purl knit makes this jacket both modern and retro at the same time. Made from 100% fine Norwegian wool from the sheep’s very first shearing. The fibers are short, giving us a finer and softer yarn. The pewter buttons in front are Norwegian-made. Dress it up with shirt and tie or down with a casual shirt or a tee.
The official team jacket for the very popular Norwegian handball teams for the 2020/2021 season. This jacket is a natural evolution of Podium, the team sweater for the 2019/2020 season. Based on old Norwegian patterns and the Norwegian flag striped cross, the design reflects optimism, team spirit and our affection for this sport. Inside the back of the neck, you’ll find the text ‘Heia Norge’ (‘Go Norway’). A little reminder to go out there and claim your victories – on the court as well as in life in general. Made from 100% skin-soft merino wool in a comfortable fit. Matching Podium hat and headband.
