Olympic Sweaters through the decades

For nearly 70 years, Dale of Norway has designed the official sweaters for Norway’s Olympic ski teams. The sweaters have been proudly showcased during official ceremonies and media appearances, representing a long-standing tradition of craftsmanship and identity. From bold vintage motifs to modern interpretations, these garments reflect the intersection of timeless Norwegian design and wool craftsmanship.

A legacy of World Championship knitwear

In parallel with our Olympic tradition, Dale of Norway has also designed the official sweaters for Norway’s national ski teams at the Nordic World Ski Championships since the late 1950s. Each design honors its moment in time, blending heritage, location, and modern knitwear expertise.

70 Years of Legacy

A Dale icon, reimagined. 70 years after Dale of Norway launched its first official Olympic sweater in Cortina d’Ampezzo in 1956, we proudly return to the same host city with a design that carries the legacy forward.
