Nanes Polo Sweater - Merino wool

The Nanes Piquet is a lightweight, comfortable long sleeve piece with a regular fit and a luxurious rib-knit texture, knitted in skin-soft, extra-fine merino wool. Part of a project devoted to giving new life to leftover yarn, the piquet is finished with a button closure and a contrasting Dale of Norway logo, subtly knitted on the inside of the collar. 

Thanks to merino wool’s natural breathability, temperature regulation, and odor resistance, this merino wool piquet ensures all-day comfort, whether worn casually or as a refined layering piece.

Leonora – skin soft extra fine merino wool. As soft as cashmere, spun from premium extra-fine merino wool. By using only the finest yarns and combining them with our unique knitting techniques, we’ve reduced pilling to a level rarely seen in yarns this soft. Garments knitted with Leonora can be machine-washed on a wool cycle. (Fiber diameter: 19.5 micron).

Nanes is named after a smooth rock formation in the Hardangerfjord – bare, sloping, and perfect for summer swims. This bathing spot is a hidden gem, quietly embraced by the fjord landscape – tucked away, yet cherished by those who know it. A fitting name for a piquet knitted from leftover yarn.
