Skåla Women's Cardigan

The Skåla cardigan is an oversized, long wool cardigan with a relaxed fit and dropped shoulders, offering effortless comfort and timeless style. Inspired by a classic Dale of Norway pattern, the design has been reinterpreted with an enlarged, pixelated expression that gives this heritage motif a distinctly modern edge.

Knitted using a double-bed jacquard technique, the Skåla cardigan combines structure and softness in equal measure. It features a V-neck with button closure, detailed with buttons made from 50% recycled paper, and high rib edges that add both comfort and durability.

The cardigan takes its name from Skåla Mountain, often referred to as “Norway’s longest uphill climb.” Rising 1,848 meters from fjord level near the village of Loen at the head of the Nordfjord in Western Norway, it offers one of Norway’s most dramatic ascents. Its summit is home to Skålatårnet — a large, round stone tower built as early as 1891, now serving as a mountain cabin that offers simple overnight accommodation for hikers.
