Nåle Women's Sweater - Merino Wool

The Nåle Women's Merino Wool Sweater is a lightweight layer designed for skiing, après-ski, and everyday wear. Knitted from 100% skin-soft, itch-free merino wool, it provides breathable warmth, natural temperature regulation, and exceptional comfort throughout the day. A refined quarter-zip and medium-high collar make it easy to adjust to changing conditions, on and off the slopes.

A bold eight-petal rose is centered across the chest, intersected by a signature "Dale 1879" band, celebrating the brand's founding year and creating a distinctive alpine look. Stripes along the shoulders and sleeves are finished with a smaller eight-petal rose at each cuff. Designed in the colors of the Norwegian flag, the Nåle is a distinctly Norwegian knit — heritage and identity worn in every detail.

Zefir – skin soft merino wool: Our superwash merino wool is one of the finest wool qualities available. Sourced from merino sheep living in warm climates, it features very fine, long staple fibers that provide exceptionally smooth next-to-skin comfort. (Fiber diameter 20.5 microns). Can be machine-washed on a wool cycle.

Nåle (“the Needle” in English) is named after one of the three summits (2,310 m a.s.l.) of the Skarstind massif. The massif’s highest peak, Skarstind (2,373 m a.s.l.), is Norway’s fifth-highest mountain – and it also lends its name to other pieces in our collection.
